    General

    What is Goal Predict?
Goal Predict is a Premier League table prediction game. Before the season starts, drag and drop all 20 clubs into the order you think they'll finish, then track your score as real results come in throughout the season.
Is Goal Predict free to play?
Yes. Creating an account and submitting a prediction is free. The player with the most points when the season ends wins a $20 gift card (or local equivalent).
    When do predictions close?
Predictions close once the season's opening deadline passes, shortly before the first matchday. The homepage shows whether entries are currently open — if they're closed, you can join the waitlist for next season.
Can I change my prediction after I submit it?
Yes, any time before the season's deadline. Once predictions close, your table locks in for the season.
How is Goal Predict different from the official Premier League predictor?
Goal Predict adds private mini-leagues so you can compete against friends specifically, tracks your score live against real fixtures matchday by matchday, and puts up a real prize for the season's winner.
Can I play Goal Predict alongside Fantasy Premier League?
Yes — they're not the same game. Fantasy Premier League has you managing a squad of players week to week; Goal Predict is a single season-long call on how all 20 clubs finish. Plenty of players do both: FPL for the weekly transfers, Goal Predict for the bigger-picture bragging rights.
    What is crowd consensus?
Once predictions lock for the season, the leaderboard shows how everyone else called it — like the percentage of players who put a club in the top four or picked them as champion. It updates alongside the standings for the rest of the season.

    Scoring

    How does scoring work?
Every club is scored on how close your prediction is to its actual finishing position: 3 points for an exact match, 1 point if you're one place off, 0 points if you're two or more places away. Scores update every time the table changes.
What are the bonus points for?
On top of distance scoring, you earn +2 for each club you correctly place in the top 4, +2 for each club you correctly place in the bottom 3 (relegation), +3 for correctly predicting the champion, and +5 for getting three or more clubs in a row in exactly the right order.
Do I need to get the exact order right to win the top 4 or relegation bonus?
No. Those two bonuses pay out for correctly identifying which clubs belong in that group, regardless of the order you put them in.

    Mini-leagues

    What is a mini-league?
A private table among people you actually know — friends, family, or coworkers. It uses the same scoring as the global leaderboard, but ranks only the members of your group.
    How do I create a mini-league?
Start a mini-league from the Leagues page, then share the invite link. Anyone who opens it can join.
How many mini-leagues can I join?
As many as you like — work, mates, and family all at once.

    Fixtures & tracking

Can I see how my prediction is doing during the season?
Yes. The Fixtures page shows every matchday result next to where you predicted each club to finish, and your score and rank update automatically as results come in.
